Since 2004, Kimberly and her dogs have competed throughout the United States in USDAA, UKI, AKC, ASCA and NADAC. Over the years Kimberly's dogs have attained MACHs, ADCHs, ATCHs, NATCHs and Versatility NATCHs. In addition to holding high level titles, Kimberly and her dogs have also successfully competed at local, regional and national events.
Kimberly currently owns two Border Collies and two Labrador Retrievers. While she competes with both of her BC's Blade and Viper, both of her Labs, Spank and Flint have retired from competition and are enjoying life has certified couch potatoes.
As Kimberly has grown as a competitor, she has strived to expand her understanding of different training methods and theories. As well as different handling systems to help her better communicate with her dogs. She embraces positive reinforcement methods, as well as different games and shaping techniques to build enthusiastic responses from her and her students dogs. She has experience working with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from the more popular performance breeds to Bull Terriers and Afghan Hounds.
Currently, Kimberly teaches seminars, workshops, private and semi-private lessons as well as smaller group classes. She emphasizes teamwork, consistency, and most importantly a fun and strong working relationship between dog and handler teams.
